Oil & Gas / Flow Assurance
Wax, asphaltenes, emulsions and foam all slow production down. We supply the chemistry that keeps lines open and throughput steady.
Overview
Flow assurance is about preventing the deposits and emulsions that restrict flow between the reservoir and the export line. Wax and asphaltenes build up as crude cools and depressurises; emulsions and foam upset separation; friction limits pipeline capacity.
We supply inhibitors, solvents, demulsifiers and drag reducers for each of these problems, selected against your crude properties and operating temperatures, and backed by field support for dosage optimisation.
Product Range
Each product addresses a specific flow problem. Most fields use a combination.
Modify wax crystal growth so crude keeps flowing at lower temperatures.
Dissolve and disperse asphaltene deposits at the wellhead and downhole.
Reduce turbulent friction in pipelines to increase throughput without extra pumping.
Separate oil and water cleanly and control foaming in separators.
Where It Is Used
Typical injection points from wellhead to export, based on the hydrocarbon production process in our brochure.
Wax inhibitor / PPD and asphaltene solvents dosed at the production wellhead, where cooling and pressure drop begin.
Demulsifier injected ahead of the heater so oil and water separate efficiently downstream.
Antifoam dosed at the separator to control foaming and protect gas and liquid quality.
Wax inhibitor / PPD and drag reducer on the oil export line to the refinery to maintain capacity.
How We Work
Every field is different, so we do not push a fixed catalogue. Send us the operating conditions and the result you need, and we will recommend a product, or blend one to your KPI.
