Oil & Gas / Drilling

Drilling Chemicals

Complete fluid-system chemistry for water-based and oil-based mud programmes, from bentonite and barite to emulsifiers, brines and performance additives.

Overview

Chemistry for Wellbore Stability and Drilling Performance

A drilling fluid has to do many jobs at once: carry cuttings, control pressure, cool the bit, protect the formation and keep the hole stable. Every one of those depends on the right chemistry at the right concentration.

We supply the full range of WBM and OBM chemicals and additives, plus the salts and brines used for completion and workover. Products come from globally reputed manufacturers and are held in our UAE warehouse for prompt dispatch to the rig.

Product Range

What We Supply

Five product families cover the typical mud programme. Bulk and specialty grades are both available.

Water-Based Mud (WBM) Chemicals

Viscosifiers, weighting agents and fluid-loss control for water-based systems.

  • Bentonite
  • Barite
  • Hematite
  • Calcium Carbonate
  • Polymers
  • Starch
  • Xanthan Gum
  • PAC R / PAC LV
  • HEC Liquid

Oil-Based Mud (OBM) Chemicals

Emulsion stability and loss control for oil-based and synthetic systems.

  • Primary Emulsifiers
  • Secondary Emulsifiers
  • Fluid-Loss Additives
  • Lost Circulation Materials (LCM)

Performance Additives

Fine-tune rheology, lubricity and wetting to drill faster with less torque and drag.

  • Oxygen Scavengers
  • Biocides

Salts & Brines

Completion and workover brines and shale-inhibition salts.

  • Calcium Chloride (Powder & Prills)
  • Calcium Bromide
  • Zinc Bromide
  • Potassium Chloride

Where It Is Used

Where Drilling Chemicals Do Their Work

What each product family is doing in the wellbore.

Hole cleaning & suspension

Bentonite, xanthan gum and polymers build viscosity to lift cuttings and hold them when circulation stops.

Pressure control

Barite and hematite weight the mud so hydrostatic pressure balances the formation.

Fluid-loss control

Starch, PAC and fluid-loss additives form a thin filter cake and protect the reservoir.

Emulsion stability

Primary and secondary emulsifiers keep oil-based systems stable at downhole temperatures.

Lost circulation

Calcium carbonate and LCM seal fractured or porous zones to stop mud losses.

Completion & workover

Calcium chloride, calcium bromide and zinc bromide brines for clear, solids-free completion fluids.
